With many years of established professional photography and a track record of success, I have captured countless models and everyday women with both glamour photography and boudoir photography over the years. I specialize in bringing out the natural beauty of the women that I work with, using the best insights, hacks, and techniques to achieve Hollywood-level portraits. I have my own studio with countless props and all of the makeup you will need.
Are You Interested in Boudoir Photography or Glamour Photography?
If you are interested in glamour photography, then I assume that you have at least some experience with posing in front of cameras and that you are determined to make modeling your career. You may be interested in posing in various states of dress or undress, depending on your specific goals. I am happy to accommodate and help you. With your model spirit and my experience behind the camera, we can capture the portraits that give you the best chance for success.
Boudoir photography is an empowering form of photography for everyday women who are not looking to use their portraits to advance their modeling careers. You can think of boudoir photography as a sort of personalized phototherapy that changes your perspective on yourself. Many women go through life with all kinds of insecurities because of how society defines beauty and because of the expectations that society places on them.

I specialize both in boudoir photography and glamour photography because I enjoy empowering women to reach their personal and professional goals. I am passionate about what I do, and there is nothing else on earth that I enjoy more than photographing my clients. We started carrying a wardrobe for our glamour shoots a year ago because we recommend that every woman has at least a few shots dressed up that she would be able to share with others. Whether it’s with friends, family, social media, and even dating sites if you’re single.
So before we start your boudoir shoot we pick out a dress or two from the glamour rack. YOu can opt for something you typically wouldn't have like our giant tulle black skirt with a satin crop tank, something Carrie Bradshaw-esque from HBO’s Sex and the City. Or pick out something fitted and contemporary from our collection. You can even bring your jeans from home with an off-the-shoulder top or a graphic tee for a girl next door look. These are all great photos to pass down to your kids. Our parents had amazing formal portraits of themselves because they went to professional photographers. All we have are shots taken with our phones. I cherish all of my photos that were passed down to me from my mom and dad. If you think about it, we don’t have anything like that to pass down to our kids.
Whenever you think of glamour, does that classic Marilyn Monroe picture pop up in your head where she is trying to hold her dress down from flying away? Well, you may have an understanding for the essence of glamour photography!
Think of the mid-century Hollywood posters where everything bold was the idea. From well-defined curves to dark, big, black eyes and amazingly carved cheekbones, this was the visual depiction of glamour back in the day.
And even though glamour photography expands beyond classic Hollywood, it has not branched out farther away from its roots in terms of concept and originality.
The Art of Glamour Photography
Simply put, photography that accentuates beauty features highlights sexiness, dazzles, and adds romance, drama, and all that jazz, comes under glamour photography. Glamour photography is built on the idea of focusing on the beauty of the person being photographed. Although glamour photography is considered a standalone genre, it has definitely inspired other genres where the focus on the person's beauty is never undermined.
The art of glamour photography is to showcase good taste, divine beauty, and luxury. The feeling of romance envelopes both the photographer and the person being photographed to make them feel special for being part of something grand. Mainly, it is about striking the right balance between not too modest and not overbearingly obscene or lewd.
The Purpose of Glamour Photography
Many of you might question what exactly the use of glamour photography is. The answer is that glamour shots are staples for portfolios of aspiring models, professional photographers, celebrities, and the social elites. Such people use glamour shots mainly for respective business purposes and other various reasons like seeking popularity, maintaining a certain public image, and even personal use.
For photographers, having great glamour shots in their portfolio shows off their skill in different types of photography genres. Similarly, for models, great glamour shots in their portfolio show their adaptability to different ideas, concepts, and genres and prove that they can fit well for any variety of modeling shoot. Celebrities and social elites see glamour shoots as their one-way ticket to fame to stir up news and become the talk of the town with bold pictures.
Glamour Photography – What It Is Not!
One thing that should be emphasized the most when talking about glamour photography is what it is not. Contrary to popular belief, glamour photography is not pornographic photography, nor does it promote nudity in that lascivious manner. Even if the poses and effect can be suggestive, as the subject may be dressed in lacy lingerie, bikinis, or even topless, it is not akin to pornography.
It has a lot to do with both parties involved – the person being photographed and the photographer. However, bear in mind that if one opts for a glamour photoshoot, it would remain within its boundaries and not result in an overly sexualized, raunchy depiction of baring it all.
Choosing the Right Glamour Photographer
An experienced glamour photographer who respects the art of glamour photography will stop short of selling any shot that depicts anything more than the subject's beauty. That's why it is important to have qualified and experienced photographers for glamour photography because they know how to maneuver a glamour photoshoot in the right direction.
In fact, a real professional glamour photographer will know how to make a fully-clothed person look sexy, graceful, and alluring. Moreover, they would have the right editing skills and techniques to accentuate the subject's beauty and highlight the shoot concept rather than overtly sexualizing it. Hence, even if the photographer will showcase the subject in a very eye-catching manner, it is not considered pornographic.
Bottom Line
The trick with glamour photography is to master the trick of suggestion. The power of suggestion in glamour photo shoots is such that it can take the whole shoot from beauty and glamour to being something else if the photographer draws one wrong shot.

Outdoor photography should be a fun experience, not a stressful one. Shoots done in nature not only cost you less, but they provide the best lighting, colors, and backdrops to work with. A professional camera is important in acquiring the best glamour portrait, provided you have the skills to work with it in different setups. Here are a few tips to get you the best shot even at a beginner level:
Clear Storyline
Whether you walk in with a story in your mind or figure it along the way, the purpose of the shoot should be clear. If outdoor photography is new for you, you can arrange a set of questions ahead of time and have them written in your notes. Doing this a day before the shoot keeps you on the right track of mind. These questions can be reviewed during the shoot to regain focus:
- Who is my model?
- What are they doing in the photo?
- What’s the connection between them and their wardrobe?
- The connection between model and nature
Pick the Right Gear
Things you need for the shoot:
- A camera, camera bag with the lenses
- Extra batteries
- Silver Reflector for black and white photographs
- White reflector for colored photographs
- Clothes and props such as umbrella, scarves, hats, or anything else required according to the theme
- Snacks and drinks
Pick the Right Location
Whatever storyline you have, your location must match it. A few protocols for picking the right place: firstly, make sure the place you pick for the shoot allows the general public to enter. Secondly, do you need permission to be in that location or conduct an outdoor shoot there? Some places require booking and maybe a bit far from where you or the model stay. Thirdly, make sure all transport arrangements are well taken care of. Finally, when picking the right location, you should also look for a location with more lighting options to work with, such as access to shady places and direct light.
