My Magical Retro-Themed Cabin Studio: A Dreamy Escape for Your Photoshoot

Hey there, Kelly from Kelly Tareski Photography here, and I’m thrilled to share with you one of my favourite indoor studios: The Vintage Cabin Studio. This adorable retro-themed cabin will transport you back in time, with an authentic turn-of-the-century look and feel. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel like you're on a movie set, ready to star in your very own fairytale. If you're planning a photoshoot, keep reading, because this is the perfect spot for creating stunning, unique images.

The Grounds

The Vintage Cabin Studio is a distinctive indoor set on my five-acre Nine Mile Falls property. The cabin uses vintage wallpaper, hanging lanterns, seating, a clawfoot bathtub, and other period-inspired details to create a retro setting. The surrounding gardens can also be incorporated when conditions and the session plan make that useful.

Versatility

The Vintage Cabin can work for several portrait styles when a retro setting fits the session. Props such as a typewriter, vintage mirror, or phonograph can reinforce that look, while wardrobe and lighting can shift the mood. Indoor and outdoor areas can also be combined when weather, access, and the session plan support it.

More about the Gardens

The gardens around Kelly Tareski Photography include flowers, herbs, trees, and designed outdoor areas that change through the seasons. When I combine the Vintage Cabin with the gardens, I plan around the current appearance of the property, weather, light, and the parts of the grounds that fit the session.

Our Packages

Session format, wardrobe changes, hair and makeup options, and the level of styling depend on the session booked and current availability. You are welcome to bring wardrobe ideas and discuss the look you want during planning. We can then confirm which sets, props, and optional services are appropriate and available for that session.
