Do You Need Professional Hair and Makeup?

No. Professional Hair & Makeup can be part of your session plan if you want it, but it is not necessary for a successful first boudoir shoot.

You also do not need to wear more makeup than usual simply because you will be photographed. Styling should reflect the final look you want.

Do You Need to Practice Boudoir Poses?

No. You do not need to memorize an S-curve, practice an over-the-shoulder pose, rehearse facial expressions, or identify your best camera angle before arriving.

The photographer can guide hand placement, posture, gaze, expression, and movement during the shoot. Guidance should be adapted to your mobility, comfort, wardrobe, and preferred coverage.

What If You Feel Nervous?

Feeling uncertain before an intimate portrait session is reasonable. You do not need to eliminate that feeling with affirmations, visualization, or a special pre-session routine.
