The Last 3 Years of Senior Portraits In Spokane

Let's Roll!

Reflecting on the past three years of capturing senior portraits in Spokane fills me with deep emotions—I feel immense pride in my achievements and am thankful for every step that has edged me closer to my photography aspirations. Establishing connections with local high schools and innovating with fresh ideas for locations and poses has been profoundly fulfilling. This journey has consistently pushed me beyond my comfort zones, a crucial aspect of my growth as a photographer.

Each obstacle presented an opportunity to learn more about myself as an artist, particularly the significance of maintaining organization throughout my entire workflow.

Reflection on my journey as a Photographer in Spokane

Hello, everyone! My name is Kelly, and I am thrilled to be here. As the owner of Kelly Tareski Photography, I have been able to capture some of the most beautiful moments of people's lives, and I am grateful for this journey as a photographer in Spokane. I first picked up a camera when I was just a young girl, always fascinated by the way photos had the power to freeze a moment in time. Over the years, my passion for photography only grew stronger, and I eventually turned it into a full-time career.

Every day, I am humbled by the opportunity to meet new people and tell their stories through my lens. My work has taken me all around Spokane, and I feel incredibly fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful part of the world. So thank you, Spokane, for offering me the chance to do what I love most.

My Biggest Accomplishment

Throughout my photography career, I've experienced many moments of distinction, but my involvement with the Portrait Masters program and my work on Senior Portraits have been particularly impactful. This program refined my skills and enabled me to produce stunning, professional-quality images. My greatest pride comes from capturing the true essence of the individuals I photograph. Senior portraits are especially meaningful as they commemorate the end of one life chapter and the beginning of another. Creating enduring memories of these significant moments for someone is my most cherished achievement and brings me tremendous joy. It is always an honor to help preserve someone's treasured memories.

The Most Memorable Senior Portraits

Over the years as a photographer, I've had the joy of capturing numerous senior portraits, but a few remain distinctly memorable. Consider Sophia, whose vibrant personality brightened every frame. Madison impressed with her serene confidence that seemed to glow from within. Colby's unforgettable smile and natural ease in front of the camera also left a lasting impression. However, it's Mia's portrait that perhaps stands out the most. More than her striking appearance and elegant style, it was the tangible excitement and sense of achievement she brought to this significant life event that made her session unforgettable. These favorite portraits remind me that beyond the visual narrative, the invaluable memories and experiences they encapsulate are what truly resonate.

Evolution

Reflecting on my earlier works, I'm struck by the progress I've made in my photography career. Initially driven by a simple love for capturing beautiful moments, my true artistic development began after participating in various photography workshops. Among the many skilled photographers who have influenced me, Sue Bryce from The Portrait Masters stands out significantly. Her guidance has been instrumental in honing my techniques and enhancing my creative vision, leading to a transformative evolution in my work. This journey of growth is continuous, and I eagerly anticipate further improvement and exploration in my craft.
